Mair Gwynant
Mair is a chartered accountant with many years direct experience of both running and managing businesses and of applying that knowledge to directly advise a diverse range of clients. An experienced consultant and adviser, Mair previously worked in senior roles within the Welsh Government, the Welsh European Funding Office, the Audit Commission, the Wales Co-operative Centre, Chwarae Teg and Deloitte Touche LLP.
Mair offers:

Mair’s specific expertise is drawn from her direct experience in the following roles:
- Head of the Welsh Government’s State Aid unit for 4 years
- Financial analyst within the Wales European Funding Office, working with applicants on the development of robust proposals and financial models in line with the structural funds regulations
- Project Director within the Welsh Government leading on the establishment of a new governance framework for the management of grants and funding
- Direct business management and finance roles, operating at Senior Management and/or Board level within a wide range of organisations including Chwarae Teg, the Wales Co-operative Centre and WCVA Services
- Director of Corporate Services for the Wales Co-operative Centre with responsibility for matters of finance, HR, governance and IT
- Active charity trustee and deputy treasurer for WCVA, and trustee and treasurer for a small community charity
- 7 years of working for a large accountancy practice, including 5 years as a management consultant, carrying out a wide range of financial management, organisational reviews and business development assignments
